Required documents

Depending on whether the user is an individual or a business entity, different documents are required for KYC and KYB. We accept the following documents:

For individuals:

ID documents

• Passport
• National ID card (back and front side)

Proof of address

• Utility bills
• Recent bank statements
• Mobile phone bills
• Tax documentation

For legal entities:

Submit at least one document from each of the four required groups below. The missingDocuments field uses the code shown beside each heading until that group is covered. It can also contain questionnaire-backed requirements for the entity’s physical address, business activity, or financial information; see the KYB guide.

Company details (COMPANY_DETAILS_DOCUMENT)

• Certificate of incorporation (incorporation_cert)
• Articles of association (incorporation_articles)
• State or company registry extract (state_registry), including an attestation d’immatriculation au RNE or Kbis in France

Ownership structure (OWNERSHIP_STRUCTURE_DOCUMENT)

• Shareholder registry (shareholder_registry)
• Trust agreement (trust_agreement)
• Partnership agreement (partnership_agreement)
• Statement of information (information_statement)

Source of funds (SOURCE_OF_FUNDS_DOCUMENT)

Upload the supporting file with the source_of_funds document type. Common examples include:

• audited financial statements;
• bank or brokerage account statements;
• tax returns;
• invoices to clients proving the nature of the business.

Proof of business address (PROOF_OF_ADDRESS_DOCUMENT)

The document must be in the entity’s name and prove its physical address. Upload it with the proof_of_address document type. Common examples include:

• utility bills;
• lease agreements;
• bank statements;
• government or tax correspondence.

Representatives authorisation

• Power of attorney (power_of_attorney)

Other optional entity document types include directors_registry, good_standing_cert, incumbency_cert, and other. They can provide supporting evidence but do not satisfy one of the four required groups above.
