Byzantine Prime accepts both fiat (EUR and USD) and stablecoin deposits, and supports instant withdrawals at any time.

Deposits in fiat (EUR or USD)

Every user can deposit fiat EUR or USD directly. A regulated on-ramp partner (Bridge, a Stripe company) creates a unique bank account (IBAN for EUR via SEPA, routing number for USD via ACH or wire) exclusively for your account. You transfer funds from your bank as a standard bank transfer. Bridge converts the fiat into stablecoins (EURC for EUR deposits, USDC for USD deposits) and the funds deploy automatically into your selected product. You will be notified when your transfer arrives and deployment is complete. For detailed timing by payment rail, see Transaction timelines below.

Deposits in stablecoins (USDC or EURC)

Advanced users with a self-managed account can deposit stablecoins directly - bypassing the fiat on-ramp entirely. This means near-instant deployment (under 30 seconds) with no conversion fee. To deposit in stablecoins, you need to have selected the “Self-managed account” option during onboarding. If you would like to switch to this account type after onboarding, contact info@byzantine.fi.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals can be initiated at any time - there are no lock-up periods, redemption windows, or notice requirements. Under normal market conditions, stablecoin withdrawals settle in under one minute. Fiat withdrawals (converting stablecoins back to EUR or USD and sending to your bank account) add the off-ramp processing time on top of this. Only Admin users can execute withdrawals. View-only users can see account balances but cannot move funds.

Liquidity in stress scenarios

Byzantine Prime is designed for daily liquidity with near-instant on-chain settlement. Even in an emergency, there are no barriers to withdrawal - the smart contracts allow full redemption at any time. In the rare scenario where an underlying lending market experiences temporary high utilisation (meaning a large fraction of deposited capital is currently borrowed), the market’s automatic withdrawal queue processes redemptions as fast as liquidity becomes available. Keyrock’s investment mandate requires continuous monitoring to avoid markets where this could become a constraint - they are required to exit markets before utilisation reaches levels that would delay redemptions.

Transaction timelines

Byzantine Prime’s on-chain settlement is instant. Converting stablecoins back into a bank deposit adds a processing step determined by the payment rail, not by Byzantine - the integrated off-ramp partner (Bridge) manages all fiat conversion.
