Both risk management and liquidity provision / investment are performed externally from the protocol.

Vault managers

Vault managers create new strategy vaults and set the intial parameters. Vault managers have the following powers:

Vault is modifiable	Update AVS strategy
Vault is closed	Update staker whitelist

When creating a native strategy vault, vault managers are required to see it with a minimum investment.

After creating it, vault managers receive the byzNFT - a non-tradeable NFT representing control over the strategy module. To understand why this is necessary, have a look at byzNFT.

Stakers

Stakers invest in strategy vaults they trust based on their risk / reward requirements. Since any vault is permanently linked to its vault creator, there is a strong element of social proof in vault selection.
